RVA Team Members Recognized at 2025 Water Environment Association of Ontario Awards

Two members of the RVA family were recognized and honoured at the 2025 Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) Awards Luncheon in April, highlighting both emerging and established leadership within the water industry.

We are proud to announce that Jonathan Rudyk, Project Engineer in our Water group, earned four distinguished awards at this year’s event. His achievements include:

1. Outstanding Young Professional Award, presented to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary, creative, and innovative work in their careers in the water and wastewater industry.
2. Young Professional Best Author of the Year. 3.Service Award for his contributions as a member of the Young Professionals Committee.
3. Service Award for his role as the Young Professional Representative on the WEAO Board of Directors.

In addition, we extend heartfelt congratulations to Peter Takaoka, former Manager of Industrial Services at RVA (retired), who received the prestigious Geoffrey T.C. Scott Award. This honour is given to members of Canada’s water environment industry who demonstrate outstanding leadership and inspiration in championing initiatives that advance the mission of the sector.

Together, Jonathan and Peter represent both the next generation of innovators and the legacy of leadership that define RVA’s ongoing contribution to the water industry in Canada. We congratulate them on these outstanding achievements and thank them for their dedication, service, and impact.
