The redevelopment will involve a new 6 storey, 1900 car parking structure with integrated station building, an additional track on the east side of the Barrie Rail Corridor, railway and pedestrian bridges and grade separation over Rutherford Road. Addition to the platform improvements consisting of a new east platform, tunnels with stairs/elevators and full-length platform enclosure.
