The Toronto Office is looking for a full time Engineer-In-Training (EIT) to join their Structural team.
•This is a mentored role with a firm target to develop the right candidate within an established group mentoring and collaborative environment.
•Draft structural plans, create and manage BIM models, and details for structural construction drawings.
•Measure, assess and sketch structural layout and details for new and existing buildings, bridges, tanks and tunnels.
•Prepare detailed design calculations and planning reports.
•Carry out Condition Assessments and structural visual surveys.
•Inspection and Contract Administration of heavy civils projects.
•Other tasks as assigned and appropriate for this position.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with up to 3 years of relevant experience. A focus or interest in the design of heavy civil structures is preferred.
•Registration as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or eligibility for registration.
•Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, Robot, SAP2000, Phase 2, and other industry related software would be an asset.
•Excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate proficiently, both verbally and in writing.
•Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
