The Ottawa Office is looking for a full time Engineer-In-Training with a passion for water, wastewater, and municipal engineering to join their team.
Reporting to the Regional Manager in our Ottawa office, you will provide assistance / support to senior staff. Assignments will include site inspections, field investigations, assisting with studies and Class EAs, preparation of AutoCAD drawings, preliminary and final design of water supply, wastewater, and municipal projects.
Projects will greatly vary, but will generally consist of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection; and road, sewer, and watermain rehabilitation. The successful candidate should be eager to learn and willing to take on a wide variety of tasks.
•Must possess a B.Eng. from a recognized university level Civil Engineering program with a strong interest in water/wastewater.
•1-2 years’ experience would be considered an asset.
•Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
•Ability to work independently and in an interactive team atmosphere.
•Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
•Construction inspection and/or survey experience is beneficial.
•Access to a vehicle is required.
