The Urban Development section of RVA’s Toronto office is looking for a Civil Engineering graduate with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our team.
Our ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is a self-starter with a high sense of responsibility and is motivated to have a successful career within a dynamic group environment.
Your role will involve all facets of land development engineering including, preliminary engineering and feasibility studies, detailed design, construction related services, contract administration and business development all related to site plan and subdivision development projects.
As a member of RVA’s urban development section, you will assemble and manage project teams to complete project work as well as pursue new project work. In doing so, the role will also include participating in the training and development of younger staff within the urban development section.
•Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) within the province of Ontario.
•Demonstrates superior English Communication Skills both oral and written.
•Project management (PMP) designation considered an asset.
•10 years progressive experience in urban development engineering. Consulting industry experience preferred.
•Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
•Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development and other skills appropriate to consulting.
•Proven, advanced level Excel skills and a proficiency with Microsoft Office.
•Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
•Excellent communications skills.
•Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
