The Toronto Office is looking for a full-time, permanent, InfoWorks Modeler to join their municipal team.
•Build a team to undertake hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of storm drainage and wastewater collection systems for projects related to:
-Basement flooding remediation studies.
-CSO control studies.
-Inflow and infiltration studies.
-Low impact development (LID) stormwater management practices.
•Develop, calibrate and utilize InfoWorks models including automated data collection and analysis of rainfall and flow monitoring data;
•Project management, client liaison, preparation of reports as well as input to planning and design of municipal infrastructure.
•5 to 10 years’ relevant work experience.
•Bachelor degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Civil/ Water resources engineering.
•In depth experience and expertise with InfoWorks modelling required. Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic other modelling software (e.g. PC SWMM, HEC-RAS) an asset.
•Must possess P.Eng. designation in the province of Ontario.
Required Technical Experience:
•Technical understanding of linear infrastructure, sewer and watermain hydraulics.
•Strong hydraulic and hydrologic analysis skills.
•Good working knowledge to operate GIS software such as ARCGIS.
•Previous exposure to model development, calibration and data analysis is of advantage.
•Good technical report writing skills.
